Situated in the countryside outside Viterbo, this restaurant boasts a minimalist design featuring neutral colours, just a few tables and a large fireplace. Chef Lorenzo Iozzia, who was born in Lentini in Sicily and has been in Viterbo for three decades, creates modern and creative cuisine with a strong focus on his native island. He admits that his connection with Sicily is still strong, as demonstrated by the typical Sicilian ingredients (fish, almonds, carob, prickly pear, oranges etc) used in his dishes. On the floor below, the Osteria Basilicò serves traditional Sicilian specialities, plus a selection of main courses cooked over the charcoal grill.
