During the day, this cosy joint in the heart of the city serves light meals and fried noodles. At night, the menu specialises in home-style Cantonese dishes. The owner-chef Mr Shek sources the freshest ingredients from wet markets daily and regulars also call him directly to pre-order certain dishes, such as fried chicken with toasted garlic which needs a day’s notice. The pan-fried hand-minced cuttlefish patties are springy and flavourful.
