A place that brings a real smile to your face! The menu may not be extensive, but it is hard enough to choose from appealing dishes packed with flavour and aroma such as "potato and cod croquettes, redcurrants, mayonnaise" and "Königsberger meatballs, caper sauce, mashed potato, beetroot". The chef's crispbread is also a treat. Both the quality of the ingredients and the craftsmanship that goes into preparing them are impressive. Prices are fair – and that goes for the wines, too. Located in the lovely Old Town of Wismar, the restaurant has an open kitchen at its centre and a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere reigns. The small garden to the rear of the building, where you can sit under the boughs of a large walnut tree, is a big draw in summer.
