L'avis du Guide Michelin
Away from the centre, nestled within a residential neighbourhood of quiet apartment buildings, this address surprises from the very first glance: the interior calls to mind a large veranda, furnished with an original and harmonious mix of objects and decorative pieces chosen with great taste – among them a piano that catches the eye – and looking out onto an intimate yet splendid terrace where, in the warmer months, dinner is taken in the shade of lemon trees. The cooking favours fire and the grill, from which generous, personal and intriguing dishes emerge, not always bound to tradition, but built around the finest the market has to offer. Worthy of particular note, for instance, is the ‘grilled fish collar finished all’acquapazza’, based on grouper, sampled during our most recent visit. The service, entrusted to a courteous and attentive all-female team, moves with natural ease, while the excellent background music contributes to an atmosphere of pleasingly elegant relaxation.
