Prepare for an extraordinary culinary journey. In his cooking, Jan Hartwig harmoniously blends classic and modern elements, incorporating inspiring creative flourishes. His seven-course set menu is precisely crafted and carefully considered down to the last detail; each dish has its own identity and features wonderful – occasionally surprising – combinations. You have the option to add a signature dish such as "sea urchin 'Louise'", pâté en croûte or beef Wellington (for two people). An exquisitely delicate flavour profile is created, for example, by the delightfully tender pike and scallop dumpling, filled with deep green Tagetes oil and topped with slices of highly aromatic Atlantic mackerel, accompanied by an umami beurre blanc foam with a subtle acidity and a wonderful buttery note. The set menu is served at lunch and dinner – a shortened version is also available at lunchtime. The interior design is sleek, chic and upscale; depending on where you sit, you can look through the open door or open pass into the kitchen, dubbed the Labor der Liebe ("Laboratory of Love"). The atmosphere is harmonious, and the service team led by maître d' Kilian Skalet is dedicated and professional. The impressive wine list includes specialities such as magnums, jeroboams and special vintages.
